Happy Children's Day

For some years now, through various platforms, I have been committed to the advocacy of the rights of the child in accordance with The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). This convention was adopted and domesticated by Nigeria in 2003.

Through my platform, Path Project Nigeria, we have vigorously engaged in the advocacy of the rights of the child to improved welfare, protection, good education and fulfilment of their potential. We have been able to reach out to hundreds of children and parents and we are committed to doing more. We have partnered with churches, government and other civil society groups with similar mandates in this advocacy and we hope to collaborate with more in the future.

Our passion and commitment is driven by the need to help every child fulfill their potential. We acknowledge that without proper investments and the right platforms, it would be difficult for every child to fulfil their potential and the dreams of parents, societies, countries and nations won't be realized. Children are the future. We must invest in them now.

We therefore call on all adults, parents, churches, government and other well meaning organizations___out of their busy schedules and commitment, to pay closer attention to the future__ the children. Give them the right starting in life. Take their welfare seriously. Give them good education and expose them to the right resources and community.We will be more than grateful to partner with you on this journey. Remember, it takes a community to raise a child.
